The clerks’ primary role is to manage and promote Members of Chambers’ practices.
They have a detailed knowledge of all the barristers’ practices, tribunal, and court systems in which we work and should be the first port of call for all enquiries in relation to availability, expertise, and fees. They will efficiently and sensitively assist in recommending the right barrister for a particular piece of work and are always happy to discuss various fee structures that can be used in relation to costs and the associated payments. The clerks are recognised by the directories as “really great at making recommendations. They are always really helpful and point us in the right direction and turn things around promptly.” They will be pleased to confirm fees on receipt of the final instructions.
Our client service is highlighted in the Chambers & Partners 2022 guide as “excellent, business-like, helpful and candid” and the staff at Pump Court Tax Chambers are recognised as being “approachable, flexible and understanding.”
